Seattle Retro Gaming Expo!

I want to make sure you all know that SRGE is this week! Seattle Retro Gaming Expo is a huge event for anybody who likes old video games! Bring some cash and expect to find pretty much anything you are looking for! This year there will even be Steel Battalion sponsored by The Airlock! We will have a booth down there so stop by and say hi, or buy a T-Shirt in our "I Saved The Airlock" T-shirt presale fundraiser!

Last year we met some people from SRGE who were going to a comedy show at Laughs Comedy Spot next to our old location. I told them that things were pretty rough and I was really wondering how I was going to pay the rent. Amazingly they helped us get the word out to their people and we had our busiest Summer season yet! We really owe these guys, so make sure you stop by and thank them by making sure they sell this thing out this year!

I have often told the story of last year, two weeks before SRGE wondering if we were even going to last another month... The week after SRGE was busy and it stayed busy for many months! I hope you will all return the favor and show up this year for their event! Last year it was in the u-district not far from the site of the old Wizards of the Coast game center, but this year it is going to be at the Bellevue Red Lion! These guys have really gone the extra mile to help me out, and their only motivation for putting on the expo is that they want to do something cool for the community of retro gamers around here. These guys have put a huge amount of personal time, energy, and money into this thing and I really hope it is a huge success!
